Alibi Vodka is distilled multiple times before being put through a lengthy Charcoal Filtration process to remove any impurities and to ensure an Undeniably Smooth finish.

at the 2023 World Vodka Awards
Saskatchewan-made Alibi Vodka from micro-distillery Backroads Spirits Co. in Wakaw has done the unimaginable by winning the World’s Best Pure Neutral Vodka at the 2023 World Vodka Awards based in the United Kingdom. Having started a little under two years ago, this award came as a surprise to this family-owned and operated micro-distillery.
The World Vodka Awards are the global awards responsible for selecting the best vodkas from around the world. The awarding process takes place with a panel of esteemed international judges, ranging from industry experts, leading journalists, specialist drinks retailers, and other distillers, conducting a blind taste test in a series of rounds. Firstly, gold medals and the best vodka are selected from each country before all the winners from around the world then being tasted against one another to select the World’s Best Vodka. The Saskatchewan-made Alibi Vodka was awarded World’s Best Pure Neutral Vodka and Canada’s Best Pure Neutral Vodka competing against vodkas and distilleries from around the world. The judges from the competition described Alibi Vodka as, “Clean and smooth with a bit of citrus and other fruity notes. Bright and fresh, staying cool on the palate.”
We're also extremely happy and proud to announce that we have won other medals since Alibi Vodka was introduced to Saskatchewan in 2021. We have now won a total of 8 medals since Alibi Vodka was released. Including our recent World Vodka Awards, we have also medaled in the following competitions which can be found below:

Not Everything Stays in Vegas!
It was during a business trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, and a couple of evenings spent at the Alibi Ultra Lounge located in the ARIA Resort & Casino where the name for our debut product was first inspired and born. In untrue Las Vegas fashion, not everything stayed in Vegas as the name "Alibi" was brought back to Saskatchewan and began the inspiration behind the brand Alibi Vodka. Whether you're in Las Vegas or not, one thing remains true, Everybody Needs An Alibi.
